| fhnw.initialPosition | The Canton: "City of Basel" is in the framework of the Bureau for Social Contributions responsible for a social Integration of people with a disability. For a certain target group the integration includes and reaches the incorporation into the first labour market and is an important assimilation vehicle. In the current system of the Bureau for Social Contributions the ways of collaboration and communications are defined between the central actors (disabled people, workshops, firms, and canton) for supported employment solutions, however it is only defined in a basic approach. | |
| fhnw.procedure | The basis of this Bachelor Thesis is a Live Project (Integration of People with a Disability into the Primary Labour Market in the Canton: City of Basel ). Afterwards Desk Research/Literature Review was conducted. To apply the knowledge gained, the current situation in Basel was analyzed and compared with other entitites. A first concept was developed. On the concept an empirical study was following. After evaluating the quantitative as well as the qualitative results, the concept was further adapted to the needs of the involved parties. The model was analyzed and a conclusion was drawn. | |
| fhnw.results | The elaboration of a concrete operational model, where the current projects were taken as a basis and inspiration. The client can see the advantages/disadvantages of an investment towards a more computerized future. Through several concepts (Ishikawa, SWOT, Scorecard, etc) the thesis is build up on. The models are described to the extent, that if ever the Bureau of Social Contributions consideres to realize such a project; the Bachelor Thesis can serve as a good basis. Furthermore the client has several anonymous feedbacks, which allows to see the perception of other parties in regard to the topic. Last but not least, there are few potential 3rd party suppliers evaluated for a hypothetical realization of the concept. | |
